Description

Contact dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin typically resulting from an allergic reaction.

 

Symptoms and Signs:

Symptoms of contact dermatitis include skin itching, burning, redness, and swelling. Papules (small, inflamed, congested spot on the skin) and vesicles (serum-filled blisters) may also be present. The skin often weeps and oozes, and scales and peels.
