Herbs

Black walnut is a great antiseptic. Take 10 to 30 drops tincture daily. The extract can also be massaged directly into the skin of the affected area two times daily. Alternatively, make a poultice and apply directly on the affected area.

The milky-white latex juice, taken from the stem of the dandelion flower has been show to be successful against warts, when applied religiously three to five times daily over the course of at least 4 weeks.

Oregano oil has ant-viral properties. One source suggests mixing three to five drops oil with 5mL extra virgin olive oil to make it more palatable. Place two or three drops of this mixture under the tongue several times daily. You can also mix seven to ten drops with 90mL sweet almond oil and add to the bath. A lotion can be made by combining 5 drops of oil with 1/2 cup of aloe vera gel.

Birch, Bloodroot, Celandine, and Yellow Cedar may also prove helpful. Consult with your herbalist, naturopath, or other health practitioner to determine the appropriateness of these herbs for your needs.

Antimonium Crudum: For plantar warts that appear on the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet. Warts are corny, hard, and sensitive to the touch.

Calcarea Carbonica: For plantar warts that are hard, round, isolated, and have a tendency to appear on the nose and face.

Causticum: Warts are large, flat, and bleed easily. Have tendency to appear on the tips of the fingers and the nose.

Dulcamara: Warts are large and smooth with thick brown-yellow crusts. Warts bleed when scratched and usually appear on the face and the palms.

Thuja: The basic remedy for warts. Can be used for any kind of warts, moles, papillomata, and condylomata.

Lifestyle

As mentioned previously flat warts on women's legs can be spread by shaving. Avoid the use of a razor on this area during the infection period.

Miscellaneous

Tea tree oil is a powerful antiseptic agent. Apply directly on affected areas several times a day.

- Vitamins -

Vitamins

External applications of vitamin E can also prove to be beneficial. Apply as needed.
