Description

Serine is a non-essential amino acid and is produced from L-glycine in the body. It is important for maintaining a healthy immune system and assists in the production of antibodies and immunoglobulins (proteins of human or animal origin with known antibody activity).

Serine also metabolizes fats and fatty acids and is good for muscle growth.

 
Ailments / Situations Where Used

Serine is good for the skin and is used in most natural cosmetics and skin care preparations as a natural moisturizer. It may help prevent cancer, obesity, and auto-immune diseases such as arthritis and rheumatism.
