2-Amino-3-Hydroxybutyric Acid

Description

Threonine is an essential amino acid and should be part of your daily diet. It is found in the heart, skeletal muscles, and the central nervous system. It forms collagen and elastin in the body and assists in maintaining protein balance in the body.

Threonine stimulates the immune system by assisting in the production of antibodies. When combined with aspartic acid and methionine, threonine exerts a lipotropic effect (removing excess fat and cholesterol from the liver) and aids in liver function.
