Latin Name: Salvia sclarea

 
Description

Do not confuse with Clary sage with Common sage (Salvia officinalis) which is much stronger and has very different properties. Clary is believed by many to have hormonal properties which can help balance menstrual and menopausal difficulties, making it a perfect partner with Geranium.

Clary sage oil is distilled from the flowering tops and the herb and is imported from France. It has a spicy, hay-like aroma. It has been called "clear eye" and was used for healing eye problems in times past. Qi characteristics: dry, element - metal.
