Latin Name: Ceratostigma willmottiana

Description

Characteristics: Seeks advice and Confirmation from others

Cerato is one of Bach's original twelve remedies. It is for people who lack self-confidence in their own judgement and decision making. When these people make a decision they need to consult the advice and opinions of others as a confirmation decision. They tend to know what they want due to their inner wisdom and intuition, yet feel the compulsion to seek other people's approval. As a result they can be swayed onto a wrong path, which can result in anger because they did not follow their own thoughts. Often they sap the energy of others from whom they seek advice with their constant questioning and overanalyzing of a situation.

Ailments / Situations Where Used

The benefits of Cerato are to have the wisdom and intuition to believe in their own opinions and follow through with a decision. These people will no longer be swayed by the thoughts of others, and will be able to think clearly and freely on their own.
