Latin Name: Ulmus Procera

Description

Characteristic: Overwhelmed by Responsibility

This flower is for capable, independent people who temporarily lose confidence in themselves. They become overwhelmed by the tasks at hand, resulting in a feeling of inadequacy. They feel they are incapable of completing the job, and thus Elm is given for courage to those who need it. On top of this overwhelming feeling they are also mentally exhausted at the feeling of what must get done, which further inhibits their potential of completion.

Ailments / Situations Where Used

Elm will allow individuals to trust others for taking on responsibilities rather then feeling they must do everything themselves, leading to enjoyment of personal tasks. The remedy will also calm the mind so the problem is seen in perspective and thought about rationally. The confidence which has temporarily been lost will return. These people will return to their capable and effective decision making processes in which they were respected as natural born leaders and dependable decision makers.
