Mimulus is one of Bach's original twelve remedies. It is for fear of known causes such as: illness, death, accidents, pain, animals, insects, dark, public speaking, loss of friends or jobs, medical institutions, or any personal phobia felt. The fear within the person is definite and they will go to any extreme in order to avoid the known cause. Mimulus will help people of varied personality types but may be more effective with those who are characterized by the Mimulus type. These individuals tend to be shy, sensitive, stutter, have a nervous laughter, and are often stage fright.
