Latin Name: Aesculus carnea

Description

Characteristic: Anxiety For Others

This flower should be taken when one finds they are excessively concerned for others, leading to a constant worry that something terrible will happen to a loved one. They tend to only feel secure when they know the individual is safe, otherwise they selflessly worry about their family and friend's health and security. As a result of this over-concern they may neglect their own needs, and let their mental or physical health deteriorate. This remedy should not be confused with Chicory which is connected to selfish love, Red Chestnut is genuinely concerned for the well being of others.
