Latin Name: Salix vitellina Description Characteristic: Resentment For those resentful or bitter over events in life that have befallen onto them. They feel like life has treated them poorly and the injustices that have occurred to them are completely undeserving. Often they are filled with self pity, they moan and sulk when things go wrong, and have difficulty getting past the situation. They can not forgive and forget. They have no interest in other people's lives unless it is to criticize and speak unkind words, which helps the Willow individual feel temporary moments of satisfaction knowing others are also hurting. They feel hard done by and only see the negative in things, and have a tendency to blame these unfortunate circumstances on others. As a result, other people have a hard time dealing with the Willow state because no matter how much one tries to please this person, they are never satisfied and reluctant to show any enthusiasm. Ailments / Situations Where Used This remedy helps reduce resentment and helps the individual regain a sense of humour to unfortunate events. It will help lift the inner anger and replace it with positive thoughts. The individual will learn that they are the master of their own destinies and that negative thoughts bring upon negative circumstances. They will no longer feel like the victim but will realize they are in control of their life.
