Heartburn and flatulence are some side effects from garlic use.

Do not give garlic to children in medicinal amounts.

Garlic reduces blood clotting. If you are taking anti-coagulant drugs such as warfarin sodium, or are preparing for surgery, consult with your naturopath or other health practitioner before taking garlic.

Garlic may also lower blood pressure due to its blood-thinning properties.
