Description

This herb is bright and yellow in colour and pungent and spicy in taste. It is widely used as a liver detoxifier in Ayurvedic medicine and has liver stimulating / healing qualities similar to licorice and milk thistle. The active compounds are considered to be curcuminoids.

Curcumin gives it its yellow colour.
