Deadly Nightshade

Latin Name: Atropa belladonna

Description

Belladonna is derived from the deadly night-shade plant and has a long history as a medicinal herb. It is highly toxic, but somehow is not poisonous to carnivorous animals as it is to humans. Ingesting the plant creates symptoms similar to those that the remedy removes: high fever, fears, throbbing pain, and rage.
