Ailments / Situations Where Used

The first indication of Bryonia is the pain of its splinter-like nature. The person lies on the painful side as the pressure of the weight lessens the pain. There is also great aversion to movement as the slightest movement causes intense pain.

Bryonia individuals are also angry and irritable and wish to be left alone. Their lips and mouth are dry and have an extreme thirst for cold drinks. Person may also have constipation with dry stools.

Bryonia is mostly indicated in bursitis, gout, lower back pain, physical trauma, rheumatoid arthritis, rib injuries, sciatica, and sprains.
