Vegetable Charcoal

Latin Name: Carbo vegetabilis

Description

This remedy is always associated with weakness. An individual's vital force seems weak and the patient is cold and sluggish.

Ailments / Situations Where Used

There are two important characteristics of the Carbo Vegetabilis individual:

  • Great thirst for fresh air or for being fanned
  • Weak digestion causing bloating, indigestion, and flatulence.

Generally, the individual is cold but does not like to be covered. There is tremendous bloating and indigestion. Frequent eructations (burps accompanied by a sour taste in the mouth) help relieve both the stomach and the patient.

Source

Beech, birch, or poplar wood charcoal.

Optimal Absorption

See Dosages and Use under the Homeopathy Introduction.
