Copper

Latin Name: Cuprum metallicum

Description

Cuprum is derived from elemental copper. Its preparation at a homeopathic dosage results in a variety of uses quite different from its application as a mineral supplement.

Ailments / Situations Where Used

Cuprum is very useful in cramps and spasms that occur in various bodily systems. Spasmodic pains begin and end suddenly.

For the respiratory system cuprum is used to treat asthma accompanied by a dry, whooping-like, spasmodic cough with suffocation and palpitations that exhaust the person. The face is blue and relief comes with drinking a sip of cold water.

For the gastrointestinal system, cuprum is appropriate for colic and spasmodic vomiting is improved by drinking cold water, violent diarrhea with cramp-like pains in the abdomen, and muscle cramps and spasms.
