St. Ignatius' Bean

Latin Name: Ignatia amara, Strychnos ignatia

 
Description

Also known as St. Ignatius' Bean, Ignatia is commonly seen as a climbing shrub in many gardens

Ignatia individuals are easily hurt and offended. Physical symptoms include frequent sighing. There is a sensation of a lump in the throat and feeling of general weakness.


 

Ailments / Situations Where Used

This remedy is appropriate for all periods following emotional shocks and is considered the number one "grief remedy". It is highly indicated when there is an element of hysteria accompanying grief.
