Description

Phosphorus is derived from white phosphorus, an essential constituent of cell matter that plays an essential role in metabolism.

The typical Phosphorus individuals are very creative, intelligent, enthusiastic, and out-going. They are often tall and appear to be rather thin.

Ailments / Situations Where Used

Phosphorus acts very well upon the digestive system when the individual has a tremendous thirst for cold drinks. It is also useful in gastritis with nausea and vomiting that is improved by cold drinks. Symptoms return as soon as the liquids are warmed in the stomach. The person also craves salt and salty foods.

Phosphorus is very useful in recurring respiratory infections, when every cold goes to the chest. A tickling cough is made worse from exertion, talking, and laughing. There is hoarseness of the throat without any pain and often an entire loss of voice.
