Pulsatilla is appropriate for allergic or infective conjunctivitis with itching, lacrimation, and pain in the eye that improves with cold applications. It is also useful in acute and chronic otitis media where ear pain is made worse at night or with heat and pain is pulsating.

This remedy is also useful for allergic asthma made worse lying down, in the evening, or at night. A cough prevents sleep as it starts as soon as the person lies down.

Pulsatilla is useful for a number of genital problems. In members of both sexes there is an excessive increase in sexual desire, despite being afraid of the opposite sex.

Pulsatilla helps turn a breech baby. It is also a common remedy for a clingy child.
